a home for my bees.................

So happy i could spend an afternoon with my dear friend Elma in her wonderful, magical garden. She knows how i feel about bees and made a home for them. I love her design.

She also made some hoodies for insects to live in and told me:

Gevuld met hooi of stro is het een prima schuilplek voor lieveheersbeestjes, gaasvliegen en oorwormen.
Zij eten bladluizen en zorgen voor een biologische bladluizenbestrijding.

ok, i try and translate. Filled with hay its a fine hiding place for ladybugs, lacewings and earwigs.

They eat aphids and provide biological control of aphids. I hope they do  but till then there a joy for my eyes....and you know what? She called the color...Martine blue.

We spend the afternoon eco printing wich was a delight in her garden because..... i know a little about eco printing but Elma knows everything about plants, because she's a biology  teacher.

She sells lots of different plants: Dyeplants, witches plants and whatsoever you can dream of. 

Wooden knots and lots of other interesting things. I tell this all because i'm so enthousiastic about the beauties she makes in her lovely garden.
