The coat and the cat.............

A few minutes ago i finished the stitching on this coat. It has taken all my time for the last few weeks. I cannot show a better picture because this is very secret, my beautiful friend who lives in London will weare it at her initiation as Priestess of Avalon this summer. So i can only show it afterwards.....August......
Now after finishing the stitching i'm gonna use (with a pincet) a lot of time pulling out a mass of Venusses white hairs. She loves textile as much as i do, especially felted wool, and i could'nt keep her from helping me.............................
But before i go, let me tell you about all the beauties that made me happy those last weeks:

First: this wonderful silkyarn Glennis send me. She must have heard my scream of joy all the way over the ocean.

Second: the illustrated guide of flora in the Netherlands, first printed 1899. A book i have been searching for years, found for 10,-- at a flea market for kings day.........It was his birthday and i got the presents. May he live long..................

Last: the bee Marion gave me because she knows how i love bees and what they mean to me.
This was like christmas in May..............so wonderful!
