So this is an old pic because due to pc problems i cannot download new ones. Anyway the wild garlic isnt there in my garden but it cant take long. A herbfriend told me she already has it in her garden.. Wintermonths with the darkness and sadness are heavier on me every year so i'm very happy spring is coming.
I miss the wild onions that would spring up from the ground, starting in January, when we lived in Tennessee. We rented a house and our landlord spotted me gathering the onions one morning. He came over and asked why I was picking weeds and I looked at him in surprise. Held out the onions, told him they were wild onions and to smell them but he just looked at me strangely, shook his head, walked off and said, "weeds." He was born in Tennessee, lived there all his life and didn't know wild onions...
