Almost a valentines heart

  

searching for a valentinesheart i found this. Eucalyptus c. is not really heartshaped but comes very close.

 Both of these prints i made years ago but still love them and the last foto..........you'll have to search for the heart, its so little. Took this years ago in a museum in Lodz.

Dit zijn genoeg rode hartjes voor vandaag. Wees lief voor wie je lief is.....het hoeft ook niet zo uitbundig te zijn maar spreek het uit ...............................en ik hou van jullie!

All kinds of friends

Lately i hear/read people talking of friends, all kinds of friends. Blog/FB/Internetfriends and how real they are. I dont know of your friends but must tell you.... some of my very best friends i met via the internet. Allmost impossible to have met them without it.  Let me introduce you to them..........

This is my dear friend Y. Overwhelmed by her emotions now and then but always by her creativity that is to much for her. It is for some people. Y. i love you........... I did the painting myself.

This is D. the beautiful, always dressed in the most special silk/felt garments. In our latest conversation she said: " dont i ask to much from you?"     What you ask my dear is nothing  compared to  what you give! D. i love you...............

 

They  came to celebrate my birthday 11-11-11 a day i'll never forget and brought ecodyed presents, some of them  i'll use in my Goddess project. 

Internet friends..........i love them. Next time i tell you about international friends.

Een pakje uit Frankrijk was de aanleiding tot deze blogpost. De tranen lopen over mijn wangen van geluk over mijn vriendinnetjes. Niemand gaat mij ooit nog vertellen dat E-friends niet belangrijk zijn. Voor mij wel, dat kunnen jullie hier zien. Volgende keer meer over internationale vriendschappen.

working for the Goddess

some moons ago i started working  on the Goddess cloth. This is how i call my final piece for art academy. I've chosen this theme because i see/feel the feminin energy slowly returning in our society. As if the Goddess is returning after ages of invisibility. I can only show here a little piece now and then. The whole work has to wait till after my exam in june. 

enkele manen geleden ben ik begonnen aan mijn eindexamenwerk van de afdeling textiele kunsten aan de kunstacademie van Genk.  Mijn thema is = Return of the Goddess =!
Was zij eeuwenlang praktisch onzichtbaar, de laatste tijd zie en voel ik een terugkeer naar haar (vrouwelijke) waarden en daarom heb ik voor dit thema gekozen. Het totale werk kan ik pas in juni laten zien, na de eindexamen expositie, maar hier alvast een klein stukje. 

a very cold beginning

After 6 blogless months i want to start over. Weblog.nl could not complete the job so i'm switching over to blogger. Will blogger make me happy? I dont know and i have to start complete learning new but i think Imbolc is a perfect moment to start something new.

Ik ben best wel geduldig maar na 6 maanden ben ik de weblog.nl ellende meer dan beu en ga over naar blogger. Ik zie wel wat dat me brengt. Dit is dus helemaal opnieuw starten en Imbolc vind ik daarvoor wel een perfect ogenblik. Je ziet op de foto dat Venus net zo benieuwd en nieuwsgierig is als ik dus................ we beginnen er gewoon aan. Later komen de verbeteringen wel.
